Door panel straightener product introduction
1: What is a straightener?
Straighteners are hardware used to straighten door panels, prevent door panels from deforming, or correct deformed door panels. They are mostly made of aluminum alloy and iron.
Principle: Through the principle of mutual force, the elasticity of the metal itself is used to form a force opposite to the cabinet door. Simply put, the door panel bends inward, and the straightener bends outward, and vice versa.
2: When do I need to install a straightener?
If the cabinet door is higher than 2M, it needs to be installed. The cabinet door is made of particle board. If the height of the European pine board and density board exceeds 2M, a straightener must be installed. Although it cannot completely prevent the cabinet door from deforming, it can still be used to a certain extent. Slow down the deformation of cabinet doors and increase their service life.
Three: Where is the straightener installed?
In order to make the straightener more effective, you can install the straightener in the middle position, because the hinge can play a part in preventing the door panel from deforming. The straightener can only prevent up and down deformation, but cannot solve diagonal deformation.
Four: Why does the door panel deform?
Regarding material issues, choose multi-layer boards, ecological boards and other boards that are easily affected by the external environment and easily deformed. Therefore, multi-layer boards, large core boards, and ecological boards must not be used for cabinet doors. Even short cabinet doors are not recommended.
The length and thickness of the door panel will also affect it.
Improper placement and compression during transportation.
Five: Under what circumstances does it not work?
When the door panel is multi-layered, installing a straightener will not work, and the straightener itself will destroy the structure and balance of the multi-layer board during installation, making it easier to deform.
When the door panel is thick enough (>21MM), it can reduce the chance of deformation to a certain extent, but installing a straightener may have the opposite effect.
When the door panel is severely deformed, bent, or bent sideways, a straightener cannot save it.
